SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2024: SBI (State Bank Of India) conducts recruitment for the post of Probationary Officer. Candidates who will appear for SBI Probationary Officer Exam must fulfill the given eligibility criteria. SBI PO Nationality Criteria

  • Citizens of India.
  • Candidates with Bhutan/ Nepal/ Bangladesh having a valid certificate to prove their intention to settle permanently in India are also eligible to apply for the examination.

SBI Probationary Officer Age Limit

There are lower and upper age limit criteria for the exam. They are,

  • Minimum Age – 21 years
  • Maximum age – 30 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: Age relaxation is applicable based on the category of the candidate. Details are given below category-wise.

whose assignment is due to be completed within 6 months from the last date of receipt of
application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or
inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment.

Academic Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification
    recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • Those who are in the Final Year/
    Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if
    called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation
    examination on or before 31.12.2023.
  • Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2023.
  • Candidates possessing qualifications as Chartered Accountant may also apply.
