For Subjects like Sociology, Geography, Economics, History, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English:

  • Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university established by law in India
  • Either B.Ed or L.T. Diploma from a Government or recognized training institution, or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from a recognized university

Selection Procedure

The recruitment process involves a subject-wise written examination (Objective Type). The key details are:

  • The exam centers will be in Haridwar and Haldwani. If the candidate pool is small, the exam may only be conducted in Haridwar.
  • Negative marking is applicable: ¼th of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks based on their category to qualify, as specified below:
