Role and Responsibilities

This position involves vital duties in the context of a national research project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The focus is on studying germline variants in genes associated with Hereditary Myeloid Malignancy Syndrome (HMMS) among patients suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Providing genetic counseling to patients and their families regarding hereditary risks and study participation.
  • Assisting in the interpretation of genetic test results and effectively communicating clinical implications.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to ethical guidelines and protocols related to genetic testing and research activities.
