Telangana Health Card

The State Government of Telangana has introduced a new health scheme for its employees, journalists, pensioners, and their dependent family members. Through the implementation of this program, government employees of Telangana state will be able to avail of the free medical services in the entire Telangana private and government hospitals. They can make use of the cashless hospitalization at the Network Hospitals (NWH). The new scheme replaces the current medical reimbursement facility and comes with added benefits such as post-hospitalization cover and treatment of chronic diseases.

• Before applying, the Applicant must have permanent residence proof of Telangana.

• The Employee’s/Pensioner’s/Journalist’s data is provided by the DDO (The Drawing and Disbursing Officer)
• The Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) will furnish the employees’ data (including Aadhaar) to the finance department through the Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS).
• This data is then shared with the Aarogyasri Health Care Trust by the finance department to generate health cards and made them available on the EHS website.
• This health card can be downloaded, printed, and used by employees.

• First, visit the official website of the EJHS (Employees & Journalists Health Care System) Department.
• On the homepage, click on the “sign-in” button.

• A drop-down list has appeared. Select employees/ pension option. Then a new page opened on your screen. For knowing your user id.
• Enter the Employee ID

• Enter the password.
• Select the employee type.
• Click on the download health Card.
• Take a printout of the card.
