The Swasthya Sathi Scheme which aims to provide cashless treatment for the whole state population will be funded by the state government to promote the well-being of ordinary people. The state government will spend a total of 2000 crores rupees on the successful implementation of this program to expand health services for each family. Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal Srimati Mamata Banerjee has launched Swasthya Sathi Health Scheme 2021 so that it can cover the entire population of the West Bengal State. As you know, the Government of West Bengal has organized Duare Sarkar camps. In these camps, West Bengal citizens can apply for various programs set up by the state government. Citizens can also apply for this Scheme in the camps of Duare Sarkar. This Insurance Scheme is a Group Health Insurance scheme of the Government of West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal state
• An applicant must not be enrolled under any other health care scheme of the Government.
• Also, the smart card issued in the scheme is for female members of the family.
• At last, the applicant should possess all the valid details.

Swasthya Sathi Official Mobile App is available in Google Play Store with Swasthya Sathi Name and Swasthya Sathi Logo. {Step by Step Guide} How to Apply for Swasthya Sathi Prakalpo

• Before starting registration. Applicants have to go to the Official Link of the Swasthya Sathi Scheme.
• After that, the Homepage will be open in front of you.
• Then you need to click on Apply Online option given in the main menu.
• Now a drop-down list also appears below Apply Online tab.
• Then choose the fourth option given in the list. That is Form B For Registration under this Scheme.

Which hospitals can the beneficiaries visit for the treatment under SWASTHYA SATHI?

1. A list of the hospitals (both public and private) are provided at the time of enrolment, check it from the hospital booklet. 2. Call the helpline number provided along with the smart card. 3. Use the Mobile App and for the ‘active hospital’ tab you can search the network hospital. 4. Also, you can search it in our website https://swasthyasathi.gov.in.

Has any amount to be paid at the hospital for treatment?

Swasthya Sathi is a cashless scheme and treatment cost up to Rs 5,00,000 (Five Lakhs per annum per family) shall be paid to the Hospital from the smart card. NO PAYMENT IS TO BE MADE FOR TREATMENT UNDER SWASTHYA SATHI SCHEME by the beneficiary.

Will the beneficiary get transport allowance if they use their own transport?

Irrespective of the mode of transportation: Payment for transport under SWASTHYA SATHI is limited to Rs. 200/- only per hospitalization, Rs. 2000/- in a policy year for the Private Hospital.

Does the beneficiary need to take any document to hospital other than the smart card?

The beneficiary needs to take only smart card when they go to the hospital and any other identify case issued by the Government. Also provide the correct Mobile Number to serve you better.
