Selection Process

Assistant Editor, Supreme Court Reports

The selection involves two stages:

  1. Written Test: Includes Part A (Precis Writing & Editorial Skill Test) and Part B (Law & Constitution), each 2 hours long. Minimum qualifying marks are 50 out of 100.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written test, in a ratio of 1:3, will undergo an interview. The interview is worth 25 marks, with a minimum of 13 marks needed to qualify.

Assistant Director & Senior Court Assistant (Ex-cadre)

The selection comprises:

  1. Written Test: Objective and subjective questions covering English, General Knowledge, General Aptitude, and Museology/Archaeology/History (total 100 marks). Duration: 3 hours. Minimum qualifying marks: 50.
  2. Computer Test: Assesses proficiency in computer knowledge; pass/fail basis.
  3. Interview: Shortlisting for interviews based on computer test scores (ratio 1:10), with interview qualifying marks set at 13 out of 25.

Assistant Librarian

The selection process involves:

  1. Written Test: Objective and subjective questions on English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Library Management. Duration: 3 hours. Minimum qualifying marks: 50 (general candidates) or 45 (reserved categories).
  2. Computer Test: Knowledge in computer operations, 100 marks, 1 hour, minimum 50/45 marks depending on category.
  3. Interview: Based on shortlisting from computer test performance, minimum qualifying marks are 13 out of 25.
