Eligibility Criteria for Candidate Selection

1. Eminent Psychiatrist from the State (not in Govt. Service)

Criteria:

  • Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Psychiatry recognized by UGC, NBE, or Medical Council of India.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the field.

2. Mental Health Professional

Criteria:

  • PostGraduate Degree in Ayurveda (Mano Vigyan Avum Manas Roga), Homeopathy (Psychiatry), Unani (Moalijat), or Siddha (Sirappu Maruthuvam).
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the field.

3. Psychiatric Social Worker

Criteria:

  • Post-Graduate Degree in Social Work and M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work.
  • Recognized by UGC with supervised clinical training.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in field.

4. Clinical Psychologist

Criteria:

  • Qualification in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognized institution or Post-Graduate Degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/Applied Psychology.
  • M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or equivalent with supervised training.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in field.

5. Mental Health Nurse

Criteria:

  • Diploma/Degree in General Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Registered with State Nursing Council.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the field.

6. Persons Representing Mental Illness
