SBI Probationary Officers Eligibility Criteria

In order to qualify for SBI PO Recruitment 2024, aspirants must meet a set of qualifying requirements. All applicants must meet these requirements in order to be eligible for the SBI Probationary Officers 2024. SBI Probationary Officers Age Limit

There are lower and upper age limit criteria for the exam. They are,

  • Minimum Age – 21 years
  • Maximum age – 30 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: Age relaxation is applicable based on the category of the candidate. Details are given below category-wise.

Essential Academic Qualifications for SBI PO

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification
    recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
  • Candidates possessing qualifications as Chartered Accountants may also apply.

SBI PO Nationality Criteria

  • Citizens of India.
  • Candidates with Bhutan/ Nepal/ Bangladesh having a valid certificate to prove their intention to settle permanently in India are also eligible to apply for the examination.

Pay Scale / Salary

Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

Call Letters for Examination – SBI PO Admit Card

Registered candidates must download their SBI PO admit cards from the State Bank of India’s website. About two weeks before to the exam dates, the authorities release the admission card. According to the official SBI PO notice pdf, the State Bank of India will issue the admit card for the preliminary and main exams separately. Separate SBI PO Admit Cards are required for each level. Once the SBI PO Admit Card is officially available, candidates can access it by providing their registration number, roll number, date of birth, or password. The organization will not send a hard copy. The admission card is printable for candidates, candidates can take a printout of the admit card.

  • The main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Tests for
    50 marks.
  • There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. For each question for

  • If a question is left blank, i.e. if the candidate marks no answer, there will be no penalty for that question.

Psychometric Test: SBI may conduct Psychometric test for personality profiling.
Group Exercise and Interview: Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Main Examination. There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category-wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise & Interview from the top of the category-wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score.

Exam Centre

Candidates must choose their preferred exam centers for the SBI PO 2024 exam when filling out the online application form. However, if seats are not available at desired locations, the Bank may assign an exam centre different from the one the candidate selected. Cut off

SBI PO Cut off is declared by the State Bank of India after the result for each phase. The SBI PO cutoff is based on the total grade. Candidates must submit their registration number, roll number, date of birth, and verification code in order to verify the cutoff. The exam doesn’t have a sectional cutoff. The only requirement for candidates is to achieve the total aggregate cutoff scores.
