How To Apply SBI Clerk Exam 2025
Candidates can apply ONLY THROUGH ONLINE MODE and no other mode of application will be accepted. Interested candidates can apply for Junior Associates 2025 posts by visiting SBI official website https://bank.sbi/careers OR https://www.sbi.co.in/careers -. After successful registration candidates are required to pay exam fee through online mode by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.
A. ONLINE APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
- Candidates should first scan their photograph and signature as detailed guidelines mentioned in the official notification.
- Candidates required to visit SBI official website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers and open the appropriate Online Application Form, available under the ‘Current Openings’ section.
- After filling the application carefully candidates are required to submit the details.
When the data is saved, auto generated provisional registration number and password will be generated in the application form. Candidates should note down the registration number and password for further editing the application form. They can edit the saved data using registration number/password maximum three times only. No changes will be allowed after submitting the application form. - After submitting the application form, candidates must pay fees through the payment gateway.
- Mode of payment: – Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking .
- On successful fee payment, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated, candidates can take a printout for future reference.

B. SCANNING THE PHOTOGRAPH & SIGNATURE GUIDELINES

Essential Academic Qualifications
Candidates for the SBI Clerk position must have a degree in any field from an accredited university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Nationality
The applicant must be an Indian national. The application of the applicant will be subject to rejection in the event of any exception. SBI Clerk Exam 2025 Selection Procedure
Preliminary, main, and local language exams will make up the three levels of the SBI Clerk selection procedure. Except for the exam of General English, which will be bilingual in English and Hindi, the question format is of the objective kind. One-fourth of the total points for the question will be subtracted for each incorrect response. No marks will be deducted if a question is left unanswered. As stated, there will be unique scheduling for each exam.

Local Language Test
Only applicants who passed the main exam are needed to take the examination, which is the third and last stage of the SBI clerk selection procedure. This optional local language test is used to evaluate candidates’ speaking, reading, and writing skills. Candidates are excluded from the hiring process if it is determined that they lack proficiency in the chosen local language.
Candidates are not needed to take the local language test if they have studied the designated local language in Classes 10 and 12. Candidates who have studied the chosen local language in their upper secondary must provide their 10th or 12th certificate in order to avoid taking the language test. Others must take the required local language exam.
State Bank of India Clerk 2025 Pay Scale & Salary
After getting selected for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in the clerical cadre, the applicants will receive the starting Basic Salary of Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). The pay scale is Rs.17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates)
Emoluments
The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.29,000/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associates. They will be eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites, provident fund, Pension under New Pension scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), Medical, Leave-Fare and other facilities, as per instructions of the Bank as may be issued from time to time. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.
Probation Period
Selected candidates will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Service Regulations of the Bank in force at the time of joining. The newly appointed Junior Associates will be on probation for a Minimum period of 6 months. Newly recruited Junior Associates will be required to complete e-lessons as prescribed by the bank during the probation, for getting confirmed in the Bank, failing which their probation will be extended till completion of the same. Further, before the probation period comes to an end, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated and the probation period of those employees whose performance fails to meet Bank’s expectation may be extended.
Pre-Examination Training
As per the guidelines issued by Government of India, SBI can arrange pre-examination coaching for SC/ST/XS/Religious Minority candidates. Candidates belonging to the above categories who desire to avail themselves of such training at their own cost have to apply online. The Bank may add additional centers or may delete some of the centers indicated for training.

Call Letters for Examination – SBI Clerk Exam Admit Card
Registered candidates must download their SBI Clerk admit cards from the State Bank of India’s website. About two weeks before to the exam dates, the authorities release the admit card. According to the official SBI Clerk notification pdf, the State Bank of India will issue the admit card for the preliminary and main exams separately. Separate SBI Clerk Admit Cards are required for each level. Once the SBI Clerk Admit Card is officially available, candidates can access it by providing their registration number, roll number, date of birth, or password. The organization will not send a hard copy. The admission card is printable for candidates, candidates can take a printout of the admit card.

SBI Clerk 2025 Result
Once both the preliminary and the main exams are conducted, the SBI Clerk Result will be released. The bank’s website will include a list of applicants who have been found to be suitably qualified. Based on the candidate’s performance in the main exam, a provisional selection will be made. A wait list for 50% of the open positions will be kept for each state and issued quarterly. Only one year from the day the final results are announced is the waitlist valid.
