Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) from Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, or the Central Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent recognized board. Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devanagri script and familiarity with Rajasthan culture is essential. Candidates appearing or awaiting results of the final year examination are eligible but must obtain the qualification before the recruitment examination date.

Special Eligibility for Ex-Servicemen

Ex-servicemen with at least 15 years of military service holding a certificate equivalent to graduation can apply by entering ‘Not Applicable’ in the roll number field and selecting ‘N’ in the result grade box.

  • Citizens of Nepal or Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before 01-01-1962 with the intention of settling permanently

Salary Structure

The selected candidates will be paid under Level-8 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Pay Commission, amounting to ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 monthly. During the probation period of 2 years, a fixed monthly remuneration will be paid, without allowances such as HRA, DA, or city allowances.

Post-Probation Benefits

Upon successful completion of probation, training, and passing of post-training examinations, candidates will be entitled to the full salary structure and allowances, as per state government rules. Additional benefits like leave entitlements will follow Rajasthan Service Rules.

Selection Procedure

The recruitment process comprises a two-stage evaluation:

  1. Written Examination: An offline objective test based on CET 2024 scores. It includes 100 MCQ questions (100 marks) to be answered in 2 hours. Negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer applies. Questions cover topics such as General Knowledge, Social Studies, Geography, History, Art and Culture, Everyday Science, Mathematics, and Current Affairs specific to Rajasthan.
  2. Physical Fitness Test: Candidates shortlisted from the written exam will undergo physical fitness assessments, including physical measurement standards and endurance walking tests.
