Age Limit and Relaxation
The minimum age requirement is 15 years and maximum is 24 years. Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- PWD Candidates: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Additional relaxation of 10 years plus duration of military service, with a minimum of 6 months in defence forces
Note: Ex-Servicemen selected under reservation will be categorized accordingly based on their original category (UR/SC/ST/OBC). Their children and dependents of armed forces members are also eligible under specific criteria.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be purely merit-based, determined by an aggregate percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation and ITI examinations, with equal weightage to both. No written or oral examination is conducted. The merit list will be prepared based on the following criteria:

- ITI examination marks
If candidates earn the same aggregate marks, the older candidate will be given preference. If there is still a tie, the candidate who passed the Matriculation exam earlier will be prioritized.
