Essential Qualifications
The candidate must possess either:
- A Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) with at least five years of post-qualification experience, or
- A PhD degree with two years of post-qualification experience.
Desired Work Experience

- PhD with First-class M.Sc./M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Pharm./M.Tech (Pharm.) or equivalent degrees.
- Specialization in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related disciplines.
- Strong experience in organic synthesis, including the synthesis and functionalization of carbocyclic and heterocyclic small molecules for drug discovery.
- Proven skills in transition-metal catalysis, multi-step synthesis, and C-H bond functionalization.
- Experience in green and sustainable chemistry practices is considered an added advantage.
Salary and Compensation
The selected candidate will be entitled to a monthly salary of ₹78,000 plus HRA, as per rules. The approximate total emoluments, including allowances, will be around ₹1,01,400 per month.
