Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The candidate must possess a Master’s Degree in Life Sciences from an accredited university or institute.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with clinical biospecimens, including blood, plasma, and serum handling.
- Expertise in PBMC isolation, serological assays, and large-scale biorepository sample management.
- Proven experience in biorepository operations—sample processing, cataloguing, storage, and maintaining quality control.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as DNA and RNA isolation, PCR, ELISA, and gel electrophoresis.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture, plasmid isolation, and assessment of cell health using flow cytometry, multimode plate readers, and biochemical assays.
- Strong laboratory management skills, including familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), reagent and equipment inventory management, and SOP preparation.
- Knowledge of biosafety and QA/QC compliance standards.
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff, interns, and research assistants.
- Effective coordination of multi-institutional sample transfers ensuring seamless workflow execution.
