Educational and Professional Qualifications

Essential Qualification:

B.E./ B.Tech. (Civil) or B. Plan. (Full Time). All qualifications must be from UGC recognized Indian universities or AICTE-approved institutions. It is mandatory that the course be completed through full-time study.

Post-Graduate or Master’s degree in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, or an equivalent specialization.

Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields such as transport planning, traffic assessments, mobility plans, or multimodal transport systems.

Job Role – Experience Profile:

The candidate should possess experience in preparing and evaluating transport and mobility plans, traffic impact assessments for RRTS corridors, and integrated multimodal transport planning involving rail, metro, buses, feeder services, and last-mile connectivity. Experience in coordinating with engineering, operations, and civil teams for station access planning, parking, and traffic circulation is also essential. Additionally, experience in detailed project report preparation for rail-based transit systems, public transport demand forecasting, survey design, and multimodal integration will be advantageous.

Candidate’s current or last served pay scale should be one of the following:

  • CDA Scale: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500 (L10), Rs. 53,100 – 1,67,800 (L9), or last 3 years of service in Rs. 47,600 – 1,51,100 (L8)
  • IDA Scale: Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 (E2), or last 3 years of service in Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000 (E1)
  • Private Sector: Minimum CTC of Rs. 11.10 lakhs per annum. Candidate must be able to provide documentary proof such as Form-16, ITR, and salary slips for verification.

Qualification Validity:
