Job Location and Duration

The selected candidates will be posted at various project sites managed by MRVC in Mumbai. The initial contractual engagement is for a period of two years, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements. Contractual employment does not entitle candidates to regular government service status or permanency.

Eligibility Criteria for Project Engineer (MEP)

Educational Qualification

The candidate must possess a BE/B.Tech degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized AICTE-accredited university. The applicant should have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree.

In cases where the university issues only CGPA/OGPA/CPI/DGPA scores, these should be converted into percentage as per the university’s conversion norms. Rounding off to the next degree is not permitted; for example, 59.99% will be considered less than 60%.

Work Experience

The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in MEP systems, preferably in government organizations, public sector undertakings (PSUs), or reputed public limited companies. Experience should include working on HVAC, electrical power distribution, plumbing, and related systems.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of MEP systems including HVAC components, electrical systems, and plumbing infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MATLAB, and Simulink for designing, modeling, and simulation of engineering systems.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems and their integration within MEP projects is desirable.

Confidentiality and Property

During the contract period, appointees shall handle confidential information, documents, and physical assets responsibly. Upon contract termination, all MRVC property, including laptops, tools, documents, passwords, and access credentials, must be returned.
