Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following educational qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Botany or Zoology, combined with a Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture, or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Botany or Zoology, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture, or
  • B.Sc. in Sericulture

It is mandatory that educational qualifications are obtained by the last date of application submission. The date of qualification is based on the declaration of exam results by the respective universities or institutions.

Important Notes on Eligibility

  • Degrees/certificates obtained from Institutions of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers (India) and the Aeronautical Society of India, after 31 May 2013, are not admissible.
  • Degree/certificate obtained from Institutions of Engineers (India) after 31 May 2013 is subject to government decision.

Selection Process

Step 1: Screening Test

The screening test will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) format, covering the following subjects:

Step 2: Personal Interview

Only candidates who pass the screening test will be called for the personal interview. The interview assesses the candidate’s personality, knowledge, and suitability for the role.
