Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have successfully completed the 10th standard (S.S.C.) from a recognized board. Additionally, applicants should have passed a two-year ITI Electrician examination from a government-recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI). The qualification should be approved by the National Council for Vocational Training (N.C.V.T.), New Delhi.

Selection Process

The selection process primarily depends on the candidate’s performance in the ITI Electrician examination and SSC standards. Candidates are required to:

  • Register and apply through the official apprenticeship portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in)
  • Fill out the application form and upload clear scanned copies of photographs and certificates
  • Send the application along with necessary documents in person or via post to the designated office address by the deadline

Merit will be prepared based on marks obtained in the ITI Electrician exam and SSC. Reservation policies will be followed strictly. If no candidate from a reserved category is available, the post may be filled based purely on merit.

Additionally, selected candidates must obtain a medical fitness certificate from the District Surgeon. Candidates must also register for apprenticeship contracts to be eligible for training.
