Eligibility Criteria

For Graduate Apprentice (General Stream)

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (three-year duration) from a recognized university with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA of 6.32. The degree should have been acquired before April 2021. Final year or result-awaiting candidates are not eligible. Candidates who have undertaken or are currently engaged in apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, or possess more than one year of experience as an apprentice, are ineligible for this opportunity. Preference is given to candidates from recognized universities in the Southern region (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Puducherry).

For Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Commercial Practice)

Candidates must possess a First Class Diploma in Commercial Practice (three-year duration) from a State Board of Technical Education, with the eligibility criteria similar to those for the graduate degree, excluding fields other than commercial practice. Same restrictions regarding prior apprenticeship experience and timing of diploma acquisition apply.

Important Notes on Eligibility

  • Degree/Diploma acquired before April 2021 renders candidates ineligible.
  • Applying candidates must have passed within the last five years; older qualifications will not be considered.
  • For CGPA-based grading systems, the conversion to percentage is not permitted to determine eligibility.
  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates from recognized regional institutions will be prioritized.
  • Candidates should ensure their educational qualifications and supporting documents meet the criteria specified.
