Selection Process

For Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ (Post Codes 01-03)

The selection involves an initial screening based on online applications. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, which is the final step for selection.

For Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Post Codes 04-16)

The selection process comprises two stages:

  1. Written Test (contains Part-A, Part-B, and for some posts Part-C)
  2. Personal Interview

Candidates are shortlisted for interviews based on their written test performance, with a ratio of 1:5. There are minimum qualifying marks for each part of the written test and interview. Final selections are made considering 50% marks from the written test and 50% from the interview performance.
