Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications
Educational Qualifications (as on 01.01.2026):
Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in 2026, 2025, 2024, or on or after 01.01.2023. Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate Apprentices: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil, Electrical, or S&T Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Diploma or equivalent in Civil, Electrical, or S&T Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic or institute.
Additional Important Points
- Result awaited/supplementary/back paper candidates are **not** eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in IRCON or any other organization are **not** eligible.
- Candidates with more than one year of post-qualification training or employment are **not** eligible.
- Fresh graduates/diploma holders with no prior apprenticeship are eligible.
- A maximum gap of 3 years after passing the qualifying examination is allowed.

The selection of candidates will be based purely on merit:
