Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The candidate must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in the notified engineering streams from a recognized university/institution established by an act of Parliament/State legislature, or deemed universities under UGC, IIT Act, AICTE Act, NITSER Act, or IIIT Act. Final-year students are eligible to apply; they should submit proof of passing the final exam by 01 October 2026 and produce the degree within 12 weeks of commencing training.

Important Notes on Eligibility

  • Graduates from foreign countries are not eligible.
  • Only specified engineering streams are accepted; variations in nomenclature may lead to rejection.
  • Candidates studying in the final year must produce their marksheets and proof of passing by the stipulated deadline.

Nationality and Marital Status

The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries with the intention of settling permanently in India (a certificate of eligibility is required). Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Marrying during training or living with parents/guardians during training is not permitted. Marital status post-application approval will disqualify a candidate from induction into training.

Physical Standards

Candidates must meet the following physical standards:
