Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in the notified engineering streams from recognized universities or institutions recognized by Indian law. The minimum qualification criteria are as follows:
- Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in notified streams.
- Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year of their engineering degree are eligible but must submit proof of passing the degree and all semester marksheets by 01 October 2026, and produce the final degree certificate within 12 weeks of training commencement.
- Note for Final Year Students: Candidates with exams scheduled after 01 October 2026 are not eligible to apply.
Eligibility for Widows of Defence Personnel
- SSCW (Tech): BE/B.Tech in any engineering stream.

Applicants must be citizens of India or subjects of Nepal. Additionally, candidates of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries and have settled in India with proof are eligible, except those with foreign degrees.
