Candidate must have a Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board. The candidate should possess proficiency in the Barber’s trade.

Essential Qualifications

Proficiency in Barber’s trade, certified by relevant experience or training.

At least one year of hands-on experience in barbering is required.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Standard Age Limit 18 to 25 years (as on the last date of application receipt)
Age Relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities 10 years (additional 5 years for SC/ST and OBC candidates)
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Age calculation considering service period; age should not exceed prescribed limit after deduction of service years, with a maximum relaxation of 3 years

Selection Process

The selection process comprises multiple stages designed to evaluate the candidate’s suitability for the Barber position:

1. Written Test

The written examination will be offline using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) with objective questions. The test will be for 150 marks, with a duration of two hours. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer applies.
