Selection Process
Applicants will be shortlisted based on a system-generated merit list, which is prepared using marks obtained in the 10th standard SSE exam. The merit calculation involves converting grades or points to percentage with an accuracy of four decimals. Subject-wise marks are arrived at by applying a multiplication factor of 9.5. For CGPA, the same factor is used to convert into percentage marks.
In case of a tie, the following priority will be used:
- Older age (DOB)
- Category-based preferences: ST trans-woman, ST female, SC trans-woman, SC female, OBC trans-woman, OBC female, EWS trans-woman, EWS female, UR trans-woman, UR female, and so on.
Shortlisted candidates will receive SMS and email notifications. Physical verification of documents is conducted by the respective Divisional/Unit Head. Successful candidates will receive a provisional engagement offer, and formal engagement will be completed after verification and completion of required formalities.
General Instructions
- Only one registration per candidate is permitted. Duplicate applications will be rejected.
- No attachments are required besides recent photograph and signature during application.
- Details such as name, DOB, and parental names must match SSC (Class X) marksheet records.
- Photographs/signatures must be clear and properly formatted; blurry images will lead to rejection.
- GDS service rules are governed by GDS (Conduct and Engagement) Rules, 2020.
