Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following options to be eligible for the JRF position:

Option A:

  • M.E./M.Tech./MS(R) or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE) with at least 60% marks or CGPA equivalent.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks applies for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories.
  • Students awaiting final semester/results are also eligible to apply.

Option B:

  • B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. in CSE, ECE, or EE with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA equivalent.
  • Valid GATE qualification is mandatory for B.Tech candidates.
  • Students awaiting final results may also apply.
  • Candidates without valid GATE scores may be considered for a lower salary as per DST guidelines.

Salary and Stipend Structure

The remuneration package for selected JRF candidates is as follows, in accordance with DST guidelines:
