Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
The candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS, Geoinformatics, Agriculture, Computer Science, or related disciplines with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
- M.Tech. in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related areas, from a recognized university with a 4 or 5-year Bachelor’s degree.
- Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science or Geography with 3 years Bachelor’s + 2 years Master’s, NET qualification, and at least 2 years research experience.
- B.Sc. (Agriculture) with four years graduation followed by M.Sc. in any discipline.
- Ph.D. in any discipline of science.
Young Professional-II (YP-II)
The candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Geography, or Agriculture.

Selection Process

Terms and Conditions
The positions offered are purely temporary and will remain valid only for the duration of the project, which is up to March 31, 2026, or until project completion, whichever is earlier. Candidates should note the following:
- There is no provision for absorption in CRRI or ICAR after the completion of the appointment.
