IBPS Clerk Exam Fee

Candidates are required to pay IBPS Clerk Application fee through online, application fees are non refundable. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the below criteria before appearing IBPS Clerk Exam. Candidates must necessarily produce the relevant documents in original and a photocopy in support of their identity and eligibility.

Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be either

  • A Citizen of India
  • A Subject of Nepal / Bhutan
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Vietnam, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates who are not Indian citizenship must produce certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualifications

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge of computer systems is must. Candidates should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
  • Proficiency (Read, Write, Speak) in the Official Language of the State/UT which a candidate wishes to apply.

Age Limit

  • Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years (As on 01.09.2019)
  • A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1991 and not later than 01.09.1999 (both dates inclusive)
  • Upper age limit will be relaxed as per govt rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXS & other categories as given Below

How to apply IBPS Clerk Exam 2020

Candidates can apply online only and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Prerequisites for Applying Online

  • Scanned photograph (Size 4.5cm × 3.5cm), signature, left thumb impression, a hand written declaration in english (text given below)
  • CAPITAL LETTERS Signature is not allowed.
  • The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and clear
  • Hand written declaration text is as follows –
    “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
  • Valid personal email ID & mobile no

Step by Step guide for Filling IBPS Clerk Exam Online Form

  • First of all candidates must visit IBPS official website – www.ibps.in
  • Click on the link “CRP Clerks” from left panel and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Clerks (CRP-Clerks-IX)”.
  • To open the IBPS Online Application Form click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION”.
  • Fill basic details like Name, Email ID, Mobile No in the online application form. After that a system generated provisional registration number and password will be displayed on the screen. The same will also be sent to the candidate’s email & mobile no. Candidates must note down provisional registration number and password for future reference.
  • Candidates are required to upload their scanned Photograph and Signature.
  • Fill other details like educational qualification, any professional experience, exam centers, choices of participating banks etc.
  • Next Upload Left Thumb Impression and Hand Written Declaration.
  • Pay the required fee – online mode only.
  • After fee payment take a printout of application form and payment receipt for future reference then click on final submit button.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2020 Selection Procedure

IBPS Clerk Exam is conducted in two phases as mentioned below

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2020

  • Both IBPS Clerk Prelims and Main Exam is computer based online exam.
  • There will be penalty for each wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
  • For each wrong answer one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
  • There will be no penalty for left blank / no answered question.
  • Candidates are required to secure minimum sectional cut-off marks for both prelims and main exam and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process.
  • Tests except the Tests of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam 2020 Pattern

IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam consists of  three sections, for each section test duration is twenty minutes. There are total 100 questions and 100 marks allotted in prelims section.

IBPS main exam consists of four sections. There are total 190 questions and 200 marks allotted in main exam. Total exam duration is 160 minutes for IBPS clerk main exam.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2020 Admit Card / Call Letter

Before appearing in any IBPS clerk exam an eligible candidate must download admit card / call letter from IBPS official website. Candidates will not receive any hard copy of call letter / admit card by courier / post. IBPS will release call letter in three phases  – Pre-exam training, Preliminary and Main Exam. There will be an additional call letter for Scribe for the Main Examination.

  • First of all candidates must visit official website ibps.in.
  • Click on “CRP Clerical” from left panel.
  • Then click on “Download IBPS Clerk 2020 Admit Card”.
  • Enter registration no, password and security code then click on “Submit” button.
