Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess relevant full-time degrees/diplomas from recognized universities/institutes, with a minimum of 60% marks. Specific requirements per post are outlined as follows:

For General Manager (Technical – E7)

Engineering Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Naval Architecture disciplines with at least 60% marks.

Desirable: Post-graduation in Engineering or Management.

For General Manager (HR – E7)

Graduate in any discipline (60%) and Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management with specialization in HR, Industrial Relations, or Labour Welfare.

Desirable: Degree in Law.

For Deputy General Manager (HR – E5)

Graduate with 60% marks and PG in Management (HR/IR) with 60% marks. Desirable: Degree in Law.

For Manager (HR – E3)

Graduate with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) and PG in Management or Labour Laws. Desirable: LLB/LLM.

For Deputy Manager (Safety & Finance – E2)

Engineering Graduate with 60%; Diploma in Industrial Safety for Safety role.

Finance role: Qualified from ICAI/ICWAI, MBA Finance preferred.

For Senior Chief Project Superintendent (Technical)

Work Experience Requirements

Post Experience
General Manager (Technical/HR) Minimum 22 years in Navy/PSUs/Private sector with shipbuilding/HR expertise; 3 years in immediate lower grade or equivalent.
Deputy General Manager (HR) At least 15 years in HR/IR roles in reputed organizations.
Manager (HR) Minimum 9 years in HR/IR/Law or Administrative roles.
Deputy Manager (Safety/Finance) At least 5 years in relevant safety/finance roles in industrial establishments or PSUs.
Senior Chief Project Superintendent (Technical) At least 24 years post-qualification experience in shipbuilding, repair, or related fields.
Senior Consultant (Marine Technical Works) At least 25 years in planning, construction, or management of defence/marine projects, preferably retired Group A officers.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications, experience, and grade levels. The selection rounds include:
