Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess either of the following qualifications:

  • 10+2 Examination from a recognized Board/University.
  • Matriculation (10th standard) from a recognized Board, with one or two-year Diploma/Certificate in Information Technology (IT) or Information Technology Enabled Sectors (ITES) from an ITI recognized by the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Government of India.
  • Three-year Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT from an AICTE-approved Polytechnic.

Note: The candidate must have passed Matric and 10+2 from an institution within Himachal Pradesh. Bonafide Himachalis are exempt from this condition.

    Selection Process

    Stages of Selection

    The recruitment will consist of the following stages:

    1. Computer-Based Screening Test (CBT): A 120-mark objective test of 1½ hours duration, covering 10+2 level subjects, computer-related topics, general knowledge, current affairs, logic, and language skills.
    2. Typing Test: Candidates who qualify the screening test will proceed to a mandatory typing test with a minimum speed of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi. The typing test is qualifying in nature.
