The bank invites applications for 2 Resource Persons to work within the Business Diversification and Product Innovation Cell (BDPIC) at its Head Office in Chandigarh. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

  • Resource Person 1: Post Graduate degree in Business Management, Rural Management, or Cooperative Management. CAIIB qualification is advantageous.
  • Resource Person 2: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Working knowledge or degree/diploma in technology is desirable.
  • Proficient in local languages (Hindi/Punjabi) and conversant in English/Hindi.

Experience Requirements (Minimum 5 Years)

Experience Domain Description
Rural Financial Institutions / NBFCs / MFIs / Insurance / Sales & Retail / Development Sectors Experience with rural banking practices, microfinance, or related fields. Former bankers should have experience at branch and decision-making levels (Scale III/IV).
Government Departments Project implementation experience in line departments at state or central government levels.
Research & Development Research or teaching experience in rural technologies through ICAR, CSIR, etc., with a focus on development and dissemination of rural innovations.

Age Limit

  • Preferred: Less than 50 years (relaxation based on experience and other factors).
  • Retired or Resigned Officers: Up to 65 years, with relevant experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively across rural areas.
  • Ability to execute bonds as per bank terms.
  • Sound knowledge of Indian rural economy and socio-economic conditions.

Salary & Benefits
