Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following qualification requirements depending on their trade category:

ITI Trades Vocational Trades
  • Passed 10th standard or equivalent
  • Completed prescribed full-time ITI training (1 or 2 years as per trade) under NCVT or SCVT in the years 2023, 2024, or 2025
  • Must possess a valid pass certificate on the date of application
  • Passed Intermediate (12th) examination in 2023, 2024, or 2025
  • Concerned Vocational Trade subject
  • Note: Candidates pursuing or having completed Apprenticeship Training or students of COE (Centre of Excellence) are not eligible

Additional Eligibility Conditions

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Candidates must ensure they are not appearing for or awaiting results of any incomplete or supplementary examinations. Candidates involved in Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act or affiliated with COE courses are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process

The selection procedure is merit-based and involves evaluation of the candidates’ academic performance:

Merit Calculation

High School (Class 10) Percentage 70%
ITI or Vocational (12th) Percentage 30%

Total merit will be prepared based on the combined percentage score, with careful conversion for CGPA results to percentage as per the board’s or council’s formula. Approximate conversions are not acceptable.

The candidates with the highest merit scores will be shortlisted for training placement.

Important Guidelines & Instructions

  • Reservation policies for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PWD and HAL employee wards are applicable as per government and company guidelines.
  • EWS Certificates should be issued within 1 year before the application date (i.e., after 01/04/2025).
  • OBC(NCL) certificates should be issued within 3 years before the application date (i.e., after 01/04/2023).
  • Dependents of HAL employees (working, retired, or deceased) must submit applications through HAL HR Department.
  • Registration and valid certification from respective authorities (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in or RDSDE) are mandatory for applicable trades.
  • The duration of training is one year, after which candidates will be considered for further employment opportunities based on performance and availability.
  • Provisional selection will be communicated via post, and selected candidates must submit Character and Medical Certificates to complete formalities.
