Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following qualifications based on the respective apprenticeship category:

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices Diploma in the respective engineering branch from a recognized State Board of Technical Education
General Stream Graduate Apprentices Graduation (B.Com, B.Sc., B.C.A) from a recognized university
Engineering Graduate Apprentices B.Tech./B.E. in the relevant discipline from recognized university or institute

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025. Certificates such as original or provisional degrees must be available by 31st December 2025.

Work Experience

Applicants should not have undergone, currently undergoing, or registered for an apprenticeship under the NATS portal elsewhere. Candidates with more than one year of work experience are not eligible to apply.

Age Limits

The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, and the maximum age is 26 years as of 31st December 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government guidelines for reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD.

Selection Process

The selection procedure for all categories is based solely on merit, determined by the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations. There are no interviews or written tests involved.

Reservation and General Guidelines
