About TSPSC
The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is a constitutional body established pursuant to Article 315 of the Indian Constitution to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Indian state of Telangana by supplying suitable candidates for various government jobs, advising the state on various service matters, formulating recruitment rules, advising on promotions, transfers and disciplinary measures. It was established under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014 on 2 June 2014 when the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission was split into APSC and TSPSC. The official website was launched by Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan on April 11, 2015. Ghanta Chakrapani has been appointed as the commission’s first chair, and a professor at Dr B. R. Ambedkar Open University. The Telanganas State Public Services Commission is a constitutionally created body that selects candidates for public service posts in the state of Telanganas on the merit of applicants, without rules or reservations.
