Eligibility Criteria – FCRI Walk-In Interview 2026

For Trainee Graduate Engineers (Level‑1 & Level‑2)

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a full-time engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) from a UGC/AICTE-recognized university or institution. The degree must be obtained through either a 4-year full-time course or via lateral entry after completing a diploma.

Minimum Marks

First Class with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying degree; the same applies to diploma if applicable.

Experience

  • Level‑2: Minimum 1 year relevant experience, such as calibration, testing, construction, maintenance, operation & maintenance of substations, or electro-technical calibration.
  • Level‑1: Less than 1 year experience, including at least 2 months of internship or practical exposure.

For ITI/NCVT Trades Positions

Educational Qualification

ITI/NCVT certificate holders in relevant trades like Machinist, Fitter, Welder, Plumber, Electrician, AC & Refrigeration are eligible with at least 55% marks or more.

Experience

  • Level‑1: Freshers or candidates with less than 1 year experience in relevant shop-floor, fabrication, installation, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Level‑2: Minimum 1 year experience in workshop, machining, plumbing, electrical fault rectification, or refrigeration systems.
