Eligibility Criteria
Post-specific Educational Qualifications & Experience
Professor
Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned subject.
Experience:
- Minimum three years as Associate Professor in a recognized medical institution, or
- Specialist Medical Officer with at least three years of experience as Associate Professor in the Armed Forces, or
- Must have published at least two research publications (first three authors) after becoming Associate Professor.
- Completion of Basic Course in Biomedical Research from a recognized medical institution.
Associate Professor
Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned subject.
Experience:
- At least four years as Assistant Professor in a recognized medical institution, or
- Five years if appointed directly as Assistant Professor in a government medical institution; or
- Specialist Medical Officer with a minimum five years of clinical experience, including three as an Associate Professor.
- Must have published at least two research publications post-appointment as Assistant Professor.
- Completion of Basic Course in Biomedical Research.
Assistant Professor
Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned subject.
Experience:
- One year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized medical institution.
- Or Specialist Medical Officers with at least one year teaching or two years clinical experience post-postgraduate qualification.
- Or non-teaching Consultants with postgraduate degrees and two years of experience in a 220+ bed Government hospital.
- Diploma holders with four years of Senior Resident experience before 08.06.2017, or six years in a government medical institution overall.
Senior Resident
Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned subject.
