Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications based on the respective position:

  • Specialists (Full/Part Time): MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university. Registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council is mandatory. Must have 3 years of experience post PG Degree or 5 years post PG Diploma.
  • Senior Residents: MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty. If PG qualifications are not available, MBBS with at least 2 years of hands-on working experience (including 1 year in the concerned specialty) in a hospital setting, either government or private. Registration with the Medical Council is mandatory.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The maximum age limits are as follows:

  • Specialists (Full & Part Time): 69 years as of the interview date.
  • Senior Residents: 45 years as of the interview date.

Age relaxation is provided as per government rules for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.
