Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the qualification requirements as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) / Medical Council of India (MCI) guidelines. This generally includes having an MBBS degree along with postgraduate qualifications such as MD/MS in the relevant specialty. All candidates should possess an updated Medical (NMC/State Medical Council) registration.

Salary and Allowances

The selected Assistant Professor will receive a fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- per month, with additional allowances as per government rules. The salary is contingent upon attendance recorded through the biometric attendance system. Retired candidates/pensioners may draw the total pay without deductions and continue drawing pension and dearness relief.

General Instructions & Conditions

  • Candidates currently employed in government, autonomous, or statutory institutions should carry a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or proof of ‘applied for’ at the time of interview.
  • Post joining, private practice is strictly prohibited.
  • The contract period is either one year or until the candidate reaches 70 years of age, whichever occurs earlier.
  • The appointment may be terminated with a one-month notice by either side. Resignation requires depositing one month’s salary.
  • There are no provisions for Provident Fund, pension, gratuity, or other retirement benefits for contractual appointment.
  • Absence for more than 7 days without prior permission may lead to termination.
  • Mandatory daily attendance verification through manual system and AEBAS (Automatic Epidemiological Biometric Attendance System).
  • Provisional vacancies are subject to change. The authority reserves the right to amend or cancel the recruitment process.
  • No TA/DA for attending the interview will be paid.
