Roles and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
The selected Young Professional-I will be involved in a variety of activities related to the UPCAR-funded project titled “Intervention of Improved Agricultural Technologies for Transforming Agriculture for Enhancing Farmer’s Income in Uttar Pradesh.” Specific duties include:
- Conducting baseline surveys and SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in targeted agricultural sectors.
- Data collection and digital surveys to facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
- Utilizing computer applications for data analysis and report generation.
- Participating in fieldwork activities, including interact with farmers, stakeholders, and extension workers.
- Assisting in analysis and dissemination of research findings to relevant stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
Candidates may also be involved in assisting with project documentation, preparing progress reports, supporting field staff, and contributing to project meetings and workshops.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess a graduate degree in one of the following disciplines:

Remuneration & Tenure
Salary Details
The monthly consolidated salary is Rs 30,000. The payment is contingent upon the receipt of funds from the funding agency.
Contract Duration
This is a temporary contractual position initially up to the end of FY 2025-26 (March 31, 2026). Based on performance and project requirements, contract extension may be considered on a yearly basis.
