Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process & Merit List

The selection process involves merit-based shortlisting followed by an interview. The detailed criteria for each post are as follows:

Nurse/Male Nurse

  • Merit list will be based on 75 marks derived from academic performance:
    • 70 marks allocated based on the percentage of marks obtained in GNM/B.Sc Nursing.
    • An additional 5 marks for candidates with B.Sc Nursing, totaling 75 marks.
  • Top ten candidates will be shortlisted for a 20-mark interview.
  • Experience of working in healthcare centers will be awarded up to 5 marks (2.5 marks per year beyond 2 years).
  • The candidate with the highest marks out of 100 will be selected.

Chowkidar

  • Merit list will be drawn based on a total of 85 marks:
    • Percentage in 10th class will be allocated a certain number of marks.
    • Additional 15 marks will be awarded as per the evaluation criteria outlined in Annexure-III.
  • The top two candidates on the merit list, ranked based on 100 marks, will be selected, with preference given to ex-servicemen (Army personnel).

Terms and Conditions

  • The positions are purely contractual and will initially be offered for a period of one year with a possibility of extension based on performance and conduct.
  • In case of scheme discontinuation, all appointments will be terminated without any legal right to claim permanency.
