Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B. Tech or equivalent) with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institute.
Professional Experience
– Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in construction or maintenance of railway tracks, specifically within Indian Railways or Metro systems.
– Should be familiar with working in a computerized environment, including knowledge of various relevant computer applications.
– Candidates must be free from D&AR (Discipline & Appeal Rules) issues and vigilance inquiries.
Experience for Government/PSU Officers
- IRSE / HAG Level officers working in Level 15 (Rs. 1,82,200 – 2,24,100), with at least 2 years in the grade, and 25 years of total service at Gazetted/Executive level.
- Similarly, officers working in IDA pay scale (Rs. 1,50,000 – 3,00,000) in government organizations, PSUs, or Metro services with similar tenure and service criteria.
Age Limit
As of 01/12/2025, candidates must be under the age of 60 years. The age of retirement in DMRC is 60 years.

Overview
The selection process is a combination of personal interview and medical fitness examinations designed to assess the candidate’s technical expertise, aptitude, physical fitness, and suitability for the role.
Screening & Medical Examination
– Candidates must clear both the interview and the medical fitness test.
– Medical examination will be conducted in the Executive/Technical category; details are available on the DMRC website.
– Failure in the medical test will disqualify the candidate, and no alternative employment will be offered.

General Instructions & Important Information
– Candidates must ensure character and antecedent verification; successful screening does not guarantee appointment unless deemed suitable after detailed enquiry.
– Selected candidates are required to execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 4,00,000/- to serve the DMRC for a minimum of three years or until superannuation, whichever is earlier.
– A three-month notice period will be mandatory before resignation.
– The probation period will be one year, including training and other phases.
– Incomplete or late applications will be rejected without notice, and DMRC bears no responsibility for postal delays.
