Salary, Incentives, and Training

Pay Scale

Consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 20,000/- after posting at Suswasthya Kendras or sub-centers (SC-HWC).

Engagement Tenure & Service Conditions

The engagement of selected candidates is purely contractual and will last until the end of the current financial year. Extension is possible based on performance and continued scheme approval. A minimum service period of 3 years is mandated after CPCH training; failure to serve this period will attract a penalty of Rs. 2,00,000/- payable to the Department. All posts are contingent upon scheme continuation and are subject to further extensions or cancellations.

Selection Process and Evaluation Criteria

The selection process involves multiple assessment stages designed to evaluate the candidate’s eligibility and suitability:

Stages of Selection

  1. Written Examination: Merit-based written test for B.Sc Nursing, GNM, Post Basic B.Sc, and B.Sc Nursing candidates (85% weightage).
  2. Academic Merit: Merit list based on academic results for BAMS candidates (85% weightage).
  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates from above stages will undergo an interview comprising 15% of total evaluation weightage.
  4. Document Verification: Verification of age, educational, registration, residential, caste, EWS, and other relevant certificates.
