Eligibility Criteria
1. Assistant Engineer (Weapons)
Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Educational Qualification: Three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of Nine years in Indian Navy, Ship Building, Ship Repair, or Engineering companies. The experience should involve installation, maintenance, repairs, and trials of weapons-related machinery or systems.
2. Assistant Administrative Officer
Eligible candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce OR a Pass in a three-year Diploma in Commercial Practice, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Experience: At least Seven years of post-qualification experience in office work, ERP systems, data entry, with two years in a supervisory role.
All qualifications must be from a recognized university, institute, or board. Higher qualifications like B.Tech, M.Sc, MCA without the prescribed diploma will not be considered for these posts.

Salary Structure
The selected candidates will be appointed in the Pay Scale PS –I (₹28,000 – 3% – 110,000). The approximate total monthly emoluments are ₹60,704, comprising:

Selection Process
Phase I: Written Test
The first phase includes an objective and descriptive written test:
- Objective Type: 40 marks
- Descriptive Type: 40 marks
Minimum passing marks for UR candidates are 50% in each test. Successful candidates proceed to the next phase.
Phase II: Work Experience Presentation
Candidates who pass the written test must prepare a PowerPoint presentation on their work experience, carrying a weight of 20 marks. Shortlisting for this phase depends on successful certificate verification.
The final merit list will be based on the combined scores of both phases.

- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- All posts have an All India Service Liability (AISL). Primary placement is at CSL Mumbai Ship Repair Unit (CMSRU), but transfers to other CSL units within India or abroad are possible.
