Eligibility Criteria for Candidates

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess a recognized degree in one of the following fields:

  • B.Tech in Dairy Technology
  • B.Sc. in Dairy Technology
  • Indian Dairy Diploma in Dairy Technology (IDD DT)
  • Indian Dairy Diploma in Dairy Husbandry (IDD DH)

Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in the dairy or agriculture sector. Experience certificates must be issued by authorized departments to validate the work period.

Experience Documentation

Experience certificates must be issued by the Director of the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department, Bihar, confirming employment in a government, semi-government, or private institution related to dairy or agriculture.

No marks will be awarded without an experience certificate, and all documents should be dated on or before 13-03-2026.

The selected candidates will receive a salary under Level-6 of the pay matrix:

  • Pay Band: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- per month
  • Grade Pay: Rs. 4,200/-
  • Total Salary: Approximately Rs. 24,000 – 35,000 / month, depending on allowances and other benefits

Selection Process and Examination Details

Stage 1: Written Competitive Examination (CBT)

The examination will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a duration of 2 hours. The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English).

  • Marks Distribution: 75 marks for the written test, 25 marks for experience
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
