Selection Process

Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination

An objective-type test of 100 marks with 100 questions (Duration: 2 hours):

  • 40 questions from General Knowledge and Current Affairs
  • 60 questions from Physics at graduation level

Minimum qualifying marks are 30%. Candidates scoring at least 20 times the number of vacancies in their category will be shortlisted for the main examination.

Stage 2 – Main Examination

Consists of two papers:
