Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following educational qualifications:

  • Graduation from Science faculty in a recognized institution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, along with passing the Divisional Officer Course from the National Fire College, Nagpur.
  • Alternatively, candidates should have completed a minimum of 3 months senior supervisory training from a recognized institution.

Work Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in the fire fighting field, including:

  • At least 2 years in a senior supervisory (Pay Level-11 or equivalent) post.
  • The remaining 10 years in Pay Levels 7, 9, or equivalent positions.

Experience certificates from controlling officers are mandatory. Candidates from Central Government or other states with experience at Pay Levels 8/10 can also apply, with the experience being counted for the non-senior supervisory portion.
