Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from the science faculty of a recognized institution, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering, or
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

  • Having passed Divisional Officer Course from the National Fire College, Nagpur, or an equivalent senior supervisory course from a recognized institute
  • Prescribed training for senior supervisory officers of at least three months duration

Work Experience

The candidate must demonstrate at least 15 years of work experience in fire fighting and safety management, with a minimum of two years in a divisional fire officer role or an equivalent senior supervisory position.
