- Under this scheme, farmers of the state are also encouraged to do further farming.
- If the farmer’s crop is destroyed due to calamity up to 20%, then he will be given a financial amount at the rate of Rs. 7,500/- per hectare so that his crop loss can be compensated.
- Apart from this, if more than 20% of the crop of the farmer is destroyed due to calamity, then he will be given Rs.10 thousand per hectare.

- The Applicant should be a permanent resident of the state of Bihar.
- Only those farmers whose applications have been damaged due to natural calamities, weather, can apply.
