Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications as on the date of notification (01/01/2026):
- For Clinical and Non-Clinical Assistant Professors: PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the concerned specialty from recognized institutions.
- For Super Specialty Assistant Professors: PG Degree (DNB/DrNB/DM/MCh) in the relevant super specialty from recognized institutions.
Experience
Applicants must have completed at least one year of Senior Residency in a recognized institute after the completion of their postgraduate qualification. For super specialty posts, Senior Residency is not mandatory.
If DNB is from an institution not recognized by NMC, an additional year of Senior Residency must be completed.

Candidates should be local residents of Andhra Pradesh. Those who studied from 4th to 10th class or migrated from Telangana (within 3 years from June 2, 2014) are considered local.
