Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and have completed an internship with a valid Internship Completion Certificate. Registration with any State Medical Council or NMC is mandatory.

Age Limit

The maximum age for applicants is 33 years as of the date of publication of this notification. Age relaxation of up to 10 years is available for Persons with Disabilities (PwD/OPH) candidates. No other age relaxations are available for SC/ST/OBC candidates for unreserved posts.

Experience and Prior Service

Candidates who have already served two terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) either at AIIMS or outside will not be eligible. Each term is considered six months. Experience in Army Services, Central Health Services, Private Nursing Homes, and Private Practice may also be considered equivalent to Junior Residency for counting terms.

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be offered a pay scale of Rs. 15,600–39,100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400 according to the 6th CPC, along with NPA as per rules. This position is categorized under Level 10 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.

Note: No travel or other allowances are payable for joining or during the tenure.
