Essential Qualifications:
- Medical qualification included in Schedule I and II or Part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956/NMC Act 2019. Candidates possessing qualifications in Part II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions in Section 13(3) of the Act.
- Postgraduate qualification: MD/MS in Medical/Surgical Disciplines such as Paediatrics, Medicine, Anaesthesia, Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the postgraduate degree in Medical/Surgical Disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience within these 3 years should be in a recognized Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing intensive services including post-cardiac surgical patient care.

- Patents filed or obtained in relevant fields.
