Eligibility Criteria
For Assistant Professor-cum-Medical Specialist (Critical Care Intensivist)
Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must possess medical qualifications included in Schedule I and II or Part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 / NMC Act 2019. Those with qualifications in Part II of the third Schedule must also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act. Additionally, candidates should have:
- Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS) in Medical/Surgical disciplines such as Paediatrics, Medicine, Anaesthesia, Surgery, or Orthopaedic Surgery. Recognition of equivalent qualifications is acceptable.
- At least 3 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the postgraduate degree in relevant Medical/Surgical disciplines.
- Among these three years, a minimum of 2 years must be spent working in a recognized Intensive Care Unit (ICU) providing comprehensive ICU services, including post-cardiac surgical patient care.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Patents filed or obtained related to medical innovations or research.
- Publication of books, technical reports, or scientific papers.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit for applicants is 45 years. Relaxations in age may be provided as per government rules for eligible candidates.
